Stretch Mark Removal Cream Homemade Recipe

Believe it or not, there is a stretch mark removal cream you can easily make at home that can work as well as the most expensive stretch mark creams available in the market today . The effectiveness of a topical cream depends solely on what the cream is made of – not the cost or the brand of the cream. The cream should contain natural and medical components that will be able to effectively stimulate cell regeneration, moisturize the skin and increase the production of collagen. Undoubtedly, you will be able to find creams that have all these ingredients. But why would you want to spend hundreds of dollars on branded creams when you can make it yourself easily at home saving you hundreds of dollars a month.

I found this article with the recipe in eHow.com. The concoction worked wonders in making my skin look better so I wanted to share it with you.

What you will be needing.
– 1/4 cup cocoa butter
– 1 tbsp wheat germ oil
– 1 medium sized lemon
– 1/4 cup milk
– 1 tsp sesame oil
– 1 tsp apricot kernel oil
– 1 tsp vitamin E oil (or 2 capsules of vitamin E)
– 2 tsp beeswax beads
– 2 Capsules of Vitamin A
– Double Boiler

History shows that cocoa butter has been and still is the most popular moisturizer used in reducing stretch marks. Cocoa butter will help you rejuvinate your skin and will also assist in keeping your skin moisterized for a longer period of time.

Lemons, milk, and vitamin A {Vitamin A, milk and lemons} are natural sources of AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) which have been used for centuries in skin rejuvenation.

Sesame oil, germ oil, apricot kernel oil, and Vitamins E on the other hand contain retinol and other essential oil substances that help increase the production of collagen.

How to prepare the concoction.

Consistently mix the ingredients while pouring the mixture on the top part of the double boiler. Fill the bottom part with water and leave it to boil on a stovetop over medium heat.

When the water is boiling, stir the mixture gently until the cocoa butter and beeswax are completely melted. This would take about 5-8 minutes to complete.

Turn off the heat and remove the boiler from the stove. Keep mixing until your cream has cooled. Transfer the mixture in a jar that is equipped with a tight lid. Do not put the lid on the jar until the mixture has completely cooled off.

You will get approximately 4 ounces of homemade stretch cream removal cream from this recipe. This will last you about 1 month depending on the extent of the skin area you will need to apply the concoction to.

How to apply the cream.

This stretch mark removal cream should be used sparingly. If you apply too much cream you may cause more harm than good by clogging the pores. Dab a little amount in the whole affected area with your fingers and massage the area in a circular motion. Make this a daily regimen and perform it at least 3 times per day. Be consistent in applying the cream and do not miss a day, doing so will set you back considerably. After a couple of days, there would be a significant improvement of the appearance of your skin.

f your scars are new and shallow, this homemade stretch mark removal cream may be able to eliminate  the scars in a couple of weeks. Sad to say, though, that no stretch mark cream will be able to totally remove stretch marks. However, the cream you have just concocted may be able to make the scars less visible and it will keep the skin amply moisturized to prevent it from further damage.
